More than half of young entrepreneurs between the ages of 25 and 35 do not succeed in making the start-up grow into a fully-fledged SME. This is evident from the report ‘Development opportunities for young people’ by the Youth Platform of the Social and Economic Council (Sociaal-Economische Raad, SER). The report was co-produced by Jong Management, the association of young entrepreneurs up to the age of 40, affiliated with VNO-NCW.
